The Tamworth Phoenix Youth Programme has had a facelift in the off season. The Youth programme now delivers to a wider age group, 14 to 19 years, than ever before and will operate as Phoenix U19 (for the 16 to 19 year olds) and Phoenix U17 (for the 14 to 15 year olds). To help announce this change and to open up the start of the 2012 season, the club have launched GIVE IT A GO! A campaign to get more people involved in the sport at this level.
Both Phoenix U19 and Phoenix U17 will be providing FREE mini camps to have a go at the sport and it won’t cost you anything as it’s totally FREE! The first GIVE IT A GO session will be at Wilnecote Leisure Centre on Sunday 15th January from 10.30am to 1.00pm. All you need to bring with you is some boots (to stop you slipping over) and a mouth guard. We’ll provide the helmets and other protective kit required.
